Hi! I’m Hannah, a videographer, filmmaker, and dancer originally from Wilmington, NC who specializes in creating dance films, reels, and promotional works. I began dancing at the age of two and started creating dance films with dancers at my studio throughout middle and high school. Because I have a strong foundation in dance and music, I am able to translate that to my videography and editing abilities. I take special care in ensuring cuts are on-beat, shots line up perfectly between cuts and angles, and tap sounds are always crystal clear.
With a passion for artistry and creative storytelling, and over 6 years of professional experience, my goal is to bring pieces of choreography to life in a way that goes beyond the stage. Currently based in Orlando, I’m available for projects that push creative boundaries. Let’s create something together!
Why Dance Videography?
Starting as a dancer…
Growing up in the dance industry gave me a strong understanding of good technique, clean lines, and ultimately what to look for when translating choreography for on-camera productions. As I have grown as a videographer, I will always apply my dance background to my films by ensuring the correct angles, lighting, audio recording, and music fit and keep time with a dancer’s movements.
Turning to production…
I got my first camera, a GoPro Hero 5, in middle school where I would create videos with my friends at dance competitions. I became interested in the storytelling aspect and decided to pursue video production full time in 2021. I moved to Orlando, FL where I studied Digital Media Production with a specialization in Video Editing. I interned with Trillfit as a social media and digital member library manager - learning about fitness through dance and connection during a time when the world was forced to be apart.
Focusing on dance…
Dance and music have always been my inspiration for what I do and create. After spending time doing various video projects (events, weddings, travel, social media, podcasts, YouTube, EDM backdrops, etc.), I decided it was time to return to what I love and begin working with dancers again. The rest is history!
